Clinton Community College Names New Vice President for Enrollment Management
Clinton Community College (CCC) today announced the appointment of Tom Nesbitt as the college’s new Vice President for Enrollment Management. Nesbitt will play a critical role in ensuring CCC continues to grow as it maintains its standing as a strong, accessible regional institution that delivers a high-quality education. He will start his new role on Monday, Mar. 31.
"Tom’s years of leadership experience across SUNY and strong personal ties to Plattsburgh make him perfectly suited to advance Clinton’s recruitment, revenue growth, and student impact efforts,” said Ken Knelly, CCC Administrator in Charge. “His expertise will be indispensable as the college enters into the next chapter, with our relocation to buildings on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus, and Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital for nursing and EMS, in time for the Fall 2025 semester.”
Nesbitt, a Plattsburgh High School graduate, most recently served as Interim Director of Undergraduate Admissions at the University at Albany, where he oversaw enrollment initiatives. Prior to that, he held senior positions at Russell Sage College, SUNY Potsdam and SUNY Delhi.
“With its diverse range of academic degree and certificate programs, Clinton has long served as a leading public institution for students from the North Country and beyond,” Nesbitt said. “I am excited for this opportunity to return to my hometown and join CCC’s dedicated faculty, staff and administrators to enhance the college’s reach and best serve students.”
