Clinton Community College Hosts Holocaust Presentation by Liam Hilferty
Clinton Community College (CCC) will host a Holocaust presentation by Liam Hilferty on Wednesday, March 26, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM in the Moore 2nd Floor Atrium. Liam will speak on “Generalplan Ost: Nazi Imperial Ambitions and the Holocaust in Eastern Europe” and explore the Nazi regime’s territorial expansionist policies and their devastating impact on Eastern Europe during World War II.
This event, sponsored by the CCC Advocacy Alliance and Cultural Affairs Committees, is free and open to students, faculty, staff, and the community.
Liam Hilferty is a University of Vermont alumnus who earned his bachelor’s degree in European history with a minor in Holocaust Studies in the spring of 2021. He further pursued his education through the university’s Advanced Master’s Program, obtaining a master’s degree in history. Currently, Hilferty serves as the Legislative Assistant to Assemblyman Jones.
