To apply for a U.S. Visa, you will need the following documents:

  • Valid passport (for at least 6 months)
  • Original letter of acceptance/admission issued by CCC
  • Original SEVIS I-20 form issues by CCC

Step 2: Sign up for Housing and Pay Your Housing Deposit

All international students are required to live on campus and purchase a meal plan
for their first year of study at CCC. A $200 non-refundable deposit must be included
in your housing application. The application is available here: Housing Application

Step 3: Make Travel and Arrival Arrangements

You should arrive on campus one week before the start of classes to participate in our
mandatory International Orientation program. Participation costs $250 and allows you
time to take care of personal business (banking, shopping), meet with advisors, and
learn about the North Country of New York. The fee also covers costs associated
with your personal pick up from the airport. We suggest students fly into the Plattsburgh
International Airport or the Burlington International Airport. Please note that we do not
pick up students from New York City, Boston, or Montreal. We also provide transport-
ation from the bus and train terminals in Plattsburgh, NY. In order to meet your travel
needs, we require that you complete the following form: International Arrival Form

Step 4: Complete and Submit Health Form and Immunization Records

You must complete and submit the following form: Health Form and Immunization Records.
Please submit the completed form to the address noted on the form.

Step 5: Purchase Health Insurance

International students must purchase a health insurance plan through HTH Worldwide.
You can find out more about this plan here: HTH Worldwide.

Worldwide

Purchase a health insurance plan through HTH Worldwide ( http://www.hthstudents.com/ ) at a cost of roughly $540 for 9 months, and provide documentation of this prior to arrival on campus.

Step 6: Send Final Transcripts / Certificates

Original or certified copies of academic transcripts, grade reports, mark sheets, diplomas/certificates, national standardized examination results, or other academic course work are required. Photocopied or scanned copies are NOT acceptable as official documents. Final documents are required to reach us 45 days before the beginning of classes. If we do not receive the document/s the student I-20 will be terminated.
