Edward Szalkowski Appointed Director of Buildings & Grounds
Clinton Community College is pleased to announce the appointment of Edward Szalkowski as the Director of Buildings & Grounds. In this key leadership role, Mr. Szalkowski oversees the maintenance and development of the college's physical infrastructure, ensuring a safe and conducive environment for students, faculty, and staff.
Edward Szalkowski, a native of Bay Shore, NY, is bringing a wealth of experience and a strong connection to Clinton Community College. A proud alumnus, he graduated in 1993 with an associate’s degree in humanities and social science. He continued his education at SUNY Plattsburgh, earning a bachelor’s degree in communications in 1995.
Mr. Szalkowski's professional journey has been marked by dedication and versatility. He started his career as a patient registrar at CVPH, showcasing his commitment to service and attention to detail. Subsequently, he spent 15 years at Wyeth-Pfizer, contributing to the pharmaceutical industry until its closure. More recently, Ed served as a Group Leader at NovaBus for 9 years, where he continued to demonstrate leadership and organizational skills.
Beyond his professional achievements, Ed Szalkowski's ties to Clinton Community College run deep. His roots in the Morrisonville community and his 1993 graduation from the college have shaped his commitment to its success. Moreover, Ed's spouse, also a proud graduate of Clinton Community College, retired from the institution after an impressive 36-year tenure.
