Welcome to Clinton Community College!
Clinton Community College, a member of the State University of New York, is situated at Bluff Point, approximately 4 miles south of Plattsburgh, NY, on forested heights overlooking Lake Champlain. The college has been ranked One of the Best Community Colleges.
Clinton Community College (CCC) plays a unique role in the local community and within the state by offering traditional and nontraditional students access to a variety of educational programs taught by a highly dedicated faculty. Many CCC students earn a degree or certificate, and then transfer to a four-year university. Other students graduate and enter directly into the workforce or attend CCC for a short period of time to meet a specific educational need.
Whatever the goal may be, students can start at CCC. The college faculty and staff are always willing and available to help students meet their goals.
Students will find an enormous amount of assistance is available to help them be successful at CCC. From the enrollment process to financial aid, tutoring and academic advising, as well as accommodative services for students with disabilities and career services; students are supported both in and out of the classroom. In addition, CCC offers students men's and women's athletics and many clubs and activities to enrich their college experience.
This handbook is intended to be a tool for students to have access to resources, information and policies that will be important to being a CCC student. Students are responsible for becoming familiar with its contents. Further questions and concerns may be addressed with the Office of Student Affairs.
