SUNY Plattsburgh Services Available to Clinton Students

Clinton Community College students can choose to access select SUNY Plattsburgh services to enhance their college experience.
Through our partnership with SUNY Plattsburgh, students have the opportunity to purchase optional services that provide additional support, convenience, recreation and campus engagement opportunities.
Important
While most of the services are optional, creating a MyPlattsburgh account and obtaining your student ID are required. Furthermore, your classes at Clinton may require textbooks or supplies. You may elect to purchase these through the SUNY Plattsburgh Bookstore.
How to Access SUNY Plattsburgh Services

Set Up Your MyPlattsburgh Account
Your MyPlattsburgh account is your gateway to accessing SUNY Plattsburgh services.
After you confirm your enrollment at Clinton Community College, SUNY Plattsburgh will send your NetID to your Clinton student email account. You will use this NetID to create your MyPlattsburgh account.
Through MyPlattsburgh, you can:
- Enroll in optional SUNY Plattsburgh services
- Submit your student ID photo
- Register your vehicle
- Purchase a parking permit
- Access important student resources and information
If you do not know your NetID, visit the MyPlattsburgh login page and select NetID Lookup in the Account Information section.
Need Help Activating Your MyPlattsburgh Account?
In some cases, students who have previously been associated with SUNY Plattsburgh may experience issues activating their account.

Once your account is created, log in to MyPlattsburgh and select the Clinton tab. There you will find service enrollment instructions, payment information, student ID tools, textbook information and parking registration options.

Get Your Student ID
Students may submit a photo for their Clinton Community College student ID through the Clinton tab in MyPlattsburgh.
Your student ID may be required to access certain SUNY Plattsburgh facilities and services.
Already Have a Clinton Community College student ID?
If you have previously received a Clinton Community College student ID during the fall 2025 semester or later, you do not need to obtain a new card.
Instructions for submitting your photo and obtaining your ID will be available through the Clinton tab in MyPlattsburgh. Students who wish to have their photo taken may go directly to the College Auxiliary Services (CAS) office, located in Clinton Dining Hall on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus.
Students must go to the CAS office to pick up their ID and pay for it. As of Aug. 2026, the cost is $7.50.

Purchase Textbooks and Supplies
Clinton Community College students can purchase textbooks and supplies through the SUNY Plattsburgh Bookstore, located in Saranac Hall, 43 Rugar Street.
- Shop in person at the bookstore
- Order books and supplies for shipment or pickup at the bookstore
If you are planning to use financial aid for your books, your aid must be in place, and you need to have submitted your Student Financial Authorization (SFA) and Certificate of Residence (COR). Only after you are set to enroll will your aid be released to purchase books.
To purchase your textbooks with financial aid in person, you will need your college ID. If you are purchasing with financial aid online, choose the “Third Party Account” under “Payment” when checking out, and enter your CCC ID number in the format of C########## with leading zeros. You will find your CCC ID number in your student portal and on your college ID.

Parking on Campus
Students who wish to park in Lot 4 near Clinton Community College's George Moore Building or park in other off-campus student parking lots on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus must register their vehicle and purchase a parking permit through MyPlattsburgh.
Vehicle registration and parking permits are available through the Clinton tab.
Cost: $76 per semester, plus a $30 registration fee once per year.*
Students will receive an email from Dean of Student Affairs Patti LaDuke with instructions for picking up parking tags.
Optional SUNY Plattsburgh Services
After establishing your MyPlattsburgh account, you may choose to purchase any of the following services.
If you would like to live on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus, you can apply for housing. Specific housing spaces are set aside for Clinton students. Applications and requirements will be made available in late spring.
Cost: Varies by housing type. Living on campus requires students to have a meal plan in accordance with campus policy and pay all required fees.
There are nine dining venues on campus from coffee shops to unlimited dining locations. You can choose from a variety of commuter plans if you are not living on campus.
Cost: Varies by plan selected.
Looking for a state-of-the-art fitness center and access to group fitness classes like spin, Zumba, HIIT, kickboxing and more? Then this service is for you!
Cost: $88.50 per semester*
Thinking about your future? The Career Development Office can provide individual meetings to explore strengths and interests, majors and related career options; identity-based resources; personality assessments (MBTI, Strong, StrengthsQuest, True Colors); resume and cover letter critiques; mock interviews and feedback; and access to job and career fairs.
Cost: $42 per semester*
Your overall well-being matters! The Student Health and Counseling Center provides medical and counseling services to students. When you are not feeling well physically and need to see a medical professional you can make an appointment, have access to basic laboratory services and a self-care station. On the counseling side, you will have access to personal counseling, 24/7 telecounseling, and group counseling.
