Military Friendly Award Badges

Serving Our Service Members

Clinton was reccoginzed by three separate organizations for our committment to military-affiliated students. Each year, Clinton looks to expand the services and resources available to veteran and military-affiliated students, spearheaded by Assistant Registrar and Veteran's Affairs Officer, Tracy Guynup. “Veterans who attend college are going through many transitions in their lives while in college. They are transitioning into college life, civilian life and family life from military life. I work to ease these transitions for these men and women and help them to make the next step in their careers a successful one,” states Guynup.

  • For the fifth consecutive year, Clinton was named a "Military Friendly School" by GI Jobs Magazine. This recognition is given to the top 15% of schools with services and opportunities for veterans and active military students.
  • Military Advanced Education awarded Clinton the designation of "Top School" for 2015.
  • Military Times named Clinton to its "Best for Vets: Colleges 2015" list. Clinton was ranked number 16 on the list, and one of only two community colleges in New York State to recieve the recognition.
